When you are a teenage pop star your teenage fans are prone to keeping abreast of stuff you do. So it is that when the 17-year-old Canadian singer Justin Bieber gets a haircut it hits the newspapers, the internet and tweets are sent all over the world.
So let the tweets begin.
Over this weekend of Jan. 13 Bieber appeared in public with the new haircut, a bit like the original Bieber hair style that he sported when starting out, and which some guys copied, the one with the big top and the swoosh over the forehead. He’s gone through at least two changes since he abandoned that one in Feb. of 2011 and now has come full circle.

E! Online reported it on the 13th and even compared it, rather cleverly, to Donald Trump’s swoop. For Bieber fans, you tweens and teens who don’t know Trump, well, he’s an old guy with lots of money, failed aspirations for the U.S. Presidency and a unique hair style. Suffice to say it looks better on Bieber than on Mr. Trump.

The new/old look for Bieber was, as E! Online’s Gina Serpe notes, first on display at the 2012 Consumer Electronics (CES) International show, a new-technology exhibit in Las Vegas where TOSY Robotics got him to help introduce their new dancing robot that doubles as a stereo speaker. So he was debuting a robot and a new/old haircut all in one that day.
Bieber, and his hairstyle, are in the studio working on a new album, ‘Believe’.
